Kashmir solidarity day is celebrated to show support for Kashmiris in illegal Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir and let them know that they are not alone.
On this day, congregational prayers are held around the Masajid to specify pray for the people of IIOJK.On this day all the people pay tribute to the brave freedom fighters of IIOJK, who have lost their lives while fighting for independence.
This is done to encourage the people of Kashmir and to motivate them. No matter, what the political situationmight be, every nation has the right to be independent. We honour this day to show the people of Kashmir that we care about them.
The valley of Kashmir is known as heaven on the earth. Kashmir is one of the most popular tourist spot. It possess exceptional beauty and is a place that must be visited at least once in your life time.Unfortunately, it has been riddled with territorial conflict since 1947.
From the partition of the subcontinent, the freedom of Kashmir has been an issue of conflict between Pakistan and India. The conflict between the two countries increases with every passing year.
Kashmir solidarity day is observed across Pakistan to portray solidarity with the Kashmiri people. Many freedom fighters have lost their loved one in their struggle for a separate identity on the world map and Pakistan supports Kashmir in its primary right to self-determination.
Kashmir solidarity day was established first in 1990. The Kashmir issue has been raised by Pakistan at Global level but international leaders and the UN have not been successful in solving the problem.
However, the people of Pakistan continue to support the people of Kashmir in their fight towards their goal by celebrating Kashmir solidarity day in February every year.
In 2021, The New York state assembly passed a resolution calling on the Governor of New York to recognize the day as Kashmir -American day. According to the resolution, the day is meant to recognize New York’s Kashmir community and to champion Human Rights including the freedom of religion.
It is hoped that sacrifices of freedom fighters, orphanages of children, molestation of women and widows will not go waste and Kashmiris will achieve their destination.
However, the people of Pakistan continue to support the people of Kashmir in their fight towards their goal by celebrating Kashmir solidarity day in February every year.
